What is VFD Programming?
A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drive (VSD) is an electronic device used to control the speed, torque, and direction of AC motors by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor. VFD programming is the process of configuring drive parameters, control terminals, protection systems, and operational modes to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable motor control in industrial environments. VFD systems are widely used in: Mining plants, water treatment systems, conveyor systems, food processing industries, manufacturing plants, pumping stations, and HVAC systems.
The VFD Programming Technician program is a hands on practical training focused entirely on configuring and commissioning industrial Variable Frequency Drives such as CNC VFD, Danfoss VFD, and Delta VFD systems.
